Sustainability at Singapore Airshow 2024

Partnering with McKinsey & Company, the Sustainable Aviation Forum by Singapore Airshow unites aviation experts to discuss topics such as Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), regulations, breakthroughs in technology, as well as research and initiatives to reduce the carbon footprint of the aviation sector.

McKinsey & Company's Oliver Plogmann noted:

"As a platform for the aviation and aerospace sector, Singapore Airshow is a catalyst for collaboration on a global scale.  With the commitment of the industry to be net zero by 2050, such platforms are imperative as they bring together the ideas, innovation, and new technologies that will propel the industry towards a more sustainable future.  We are pleased to contribute to the discussions on sustainable aviation technologies with the industry at Singapore Airshow 2024, as they chart the way forward."

There will be three other sessions of similar talks, such as the Aviation CEO Forum, Advanced Air Mobility, as well as the China-Singapore Bilateral Aviation Forum. More details can be found on the airshow website.

Electronic Vertical Take-Off and Landing (eVTOL) aircrafts by Eve Air Mobility and Wisk Aero, and with Neste's Sustainable Aviation Fuel, the airshow will be showcasing a variety of sustainable aviation alternatives that are more climate-change friendly, and which are in development, or currently available in the market.
