On 15 April 2024, Singapore Changi Airport received a special guest - Scoot's first ever Embraer E190-E2 jet. The jet, named the "Explorer 3.0", touched down in Singapore Changi Airport, after taking off from Brazil on the 12th, and making fuel stops in Gran Canaria, Athens, Baku, Hyderabad and Phuket. The second aircraft is due to arrive in late April, and the remaining 7 will be delivered progressively by next year.

Mr. Leslie Thng, Scoot's Chief Executive Officer, commented:
“We are excited to receive our first E190-E2 aircraft in Singapore today. This milestone marks the start of a new chapter for Scoot and it is made possible with the hard work of our staff and support of our valued partners including Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS), Changi Airport Group (CAG), Embraer and SIA Engineering Company (SIAEC) who have worked closely with us over the past year to ensure that the E190-E2 aircraft are ready for entry into service. We look forward to welcoming our customers on board our new aircraft soon.”
We would like to extend our gratitude to Scoot for providing us with the information.
