Scoot, the low-cost subsidiary of Singapore Airlines (SIA), has announced the launch of its new flight route from Singapore Changi Airport (WSSS/SIN) to Kuala Lumpur's Subang Airport (WMSA/SZB) in Malaysia. The new route is set to commence on 1 September 2024. Operated by the Airbus A320-200 aircraft, the once-daily flights offer customers a choice when travelling between Kuala Lumpur and Singapore.
The sale of flights to and from Subang Airport is currently available for booking via Scoot's official website flyscoot.com and mobile app, and ticket sales will soon roll out to other platforms, with Economy class fares starting from SGD 83 when departing from Singapore and RM 108 when departing from Kuala Lumpur.
With the addition of Subang Airport, Scoot’s network will increase to 70 destinations and after the launch of the new route on 1 September 2024, Scoot will operate 110 weekly flights to Malaysia.
This is the second airline operating flights from Singapore to Subang Airport, the other being Firefly (FFM/FY), which operates flights from Singapore Seletar Airport.
