Bali International Airshow 2024: What to expect

The inaugural Bali Airshow 2024 has just opened its doors to visitors today. From aerial displays to static displays, here's what you can expect at the first Indonesian airshow in 28 years.

Bali International Airshow, which is happening from 18-21 September 2024, will feature many different aerial and static displays at Bali Ngurah Rai International Airport. Exhibitors such as Boeing, Embraer, Airbus, and Thales will be present at this inaugural airshow. They will be displaying their state-of-the-art aircraft, in forms of static displays and/or scale models. The exhibitors will also be present in the exhibition halls.


Static Displays

The static displays at the airshow will feature aircraft such as the Sukhoi 30, and F-16, as well as F-35s and an Airbus A400M from Luftwaffe, the German Air Force. The full list is as follows:

Flying displays

Flying displays are one of the highlights of the Bali Airshow. From the mighty F-35 Lightnings to the Jupiter Aerobatic Team, here is what you can expect to see in the skies at Bali Airshow 2024.

The flying displays will be held every day at 4 different timings: 9.30am to 9.50pm, 10.30am to 10.50am, 12.30pm to 12.50pm, and 3.30pm to 3.50pm.


However, do note that the RAAF F-35s will only be making an appearance on 19 and 20 September 2024, and will not be flying on the public day.


Trade days

The trade days at the airshow will be from 18-20 September 2024, and the airshow will not be open to the public on these 3 days. Visitors during the trade days can expect conferences with different officials and companies, including Boeing and Airasia, which will be holding talks on these days.


Trade day attendees can also look forward to many different exhibitions from all around the world, and engage in networking sessions with other attendees.


Public day

The public day of the airshow will be held on 21 September 2024. Attendees of the public day can expect many fun and thrilling activities and performances, including photo booths, arts and crafts activities, as well as a "Meet the Pilots" session, on top of the exhilarating static and aerial displays.


Tickets and transportation

To purchase public day tickets, you may go to widget.loket.com/widget/yje6bc5lisfit13hy. The tickets start from IDR150,000 per person, and a round-trip shuttle bus costs IDR 100,000 per person per day. Kids under the age of 6 and seniors above the age of 65 enter free.


The shuttle buses will depart for the General Aviation Terminal of Bali Ngurah Rai International Airport from 3 different locations: Kuta Beachwalk, Mal Bali Galleria, as well as Bali Collection Nusa Dua. The buses depart from the venue once every 30 minutes.
